George A. Walton (1883-1969) was the long-time headmaster of the George School, a Quaker boarding school in Newtown, Pa. He succeeded his father, Joseph Solomon Walton, in 1912 and served until 1948. After his retirement, he continued to be active in Quaker organizations and concerns, including the reunification of the Society of Friends in 1955. He was a member of Newtown Monthly Meeting.
